These are words I live by, unsure of where it comes from or even if I had come up with myself, I still live by it, and the meaning holds so true, our lives are very insignificant making up one out of however many billion, – a statistician will be sure to tell you that the odds are against you, yet by coming to understand one another, you really find that every single person – no exception has a story to tell, be it a problem, their family, or even how they are currently standing in this very spot, these stories fascinate me, it shows that even though each persons life is fairly insignificant relative to the population size, each of us lives a life worthy of thousands.

Just another day..

So just another college day, another lunchtime, yet again another sandwich and being bored, which I don’t really mind. At least it gives me a chance to update this blog once in a while. Seems like I hardly blog nowadays but at least this gives me the chance to. So now I think my blog posts will be more text heavy rather than images. I guess I never really thought about how much this blog means to me, I guess I really just thought a blog to write stupid things but it really gives you a chance to vent on things. You notice things you would have never thought about and the fact of the matter is, you really take it for granted how much it helps you think things over. I think if anyone is actually reading this – start your own blog, it does more good than it does bad and really, what do you lose out on? You convey your feelings that you would never bring up normally that someone halfway across the world will read. No-one knows it’s you and no-one ever will unless you choose to share it. Looking around I see people I consider good friends, but is that what they think of me? I would never know. It’s not as if I can probe their minds and look for what they think of me. I can only contemplate on the fact that these people to me, on a personal level are most probably the best people I have ever met, so maybe, just maybe, there may be a mutual feeling of holding something dear.

Google Chrome Choc

So I have no idea where she found this, but my aunt gave us a little gift someone gave her (Despicable I know, re-gifting for nieces and nephews xD)

and it was pretty darn cool

Yup a super-cool Google Chrome Shaped Giant Chocolate Thingy! xD

I love that sentence they use for the advertising, its really clever and witty, especially the fact that it is laid out with punctuation as if it was a slow browser.

…Yeah I’m a loser like that….

Anyways, yeah this chocolate is super-cool… but I haven’t actually eaten it yet lol

its actually just sitting downstairs in the cupboard…

So it might actually just end up going in the bin….

Oh well, we will have to see….

Long Overdue post of disappointment

Hey Hey Guess its that time of the year for a new blog post and what a blog post this is..

This post is actually long overdue from last September/October-ey time.

Yup, I’m Awesome like that…

Anyways onto the blog post, Recently (OK maybe not recently) I bought the new (not so new anymore) copy of Hobby Japan with Black Rock Shooter on the cover (Yay)

And what was that? A free gift? related to Black Rock Shooter? Sold. (even if the magazine set me back just under a tenner but what the heck I like Japanese magazines)

Severe disappointment awaited my naive self…

Christmas!

Just thought I’d wish everybody a wonderful and happy Christmas with family, cause I know that for some people Christmas is the only time of the year they see certain relatives. So for this I hope you guys have a wonderful time annoying relatives, playing board games and stuffing your faces. Happy Christmas!

And it is that time of the year for Christmas carol’s and oh, how I love them…. *cough*

but this is a much better substitute for them xD

Around the Bowl in 12 days – Day Twelve!

And on the twelfth day, I forgot to blog, and so I am late again…

My bad…

but other than this I think we should jump right in and get our twelfth day written so that we finish up our 12 days of Christmas style posts

And on the twelfth day of food stuffs, our dish seems to be….

One large plate!

yep, one of my faves,  Deep fried prawns in batter, or as known by the Japanese, prawn tempura.

hmm…. actually looking at that picture it looks more like chicken dippers LOL

so here’s some more pics just so they look less chicken dipper-y and more fried prawn-y?

Yep, was pretty tasty too, served with a mayonnaise and/or ketchup dip

And yes this is the end of our very, very long journey… and I am quite sad… *sniff*

makes me so sad, I might have to shed a tear LOL

yes, even tough guys can cry…….sometimes

But yeah its not like I won’t post about food anymore, there still will be posts, just less frequent and stuff…

Around the Bowl in 12 days – Day Eleven!

Day eleven, you know what that means~?

One more day to go! WOO!

but to clear things up that doesn’t mean I’ll stop blogging, oh no, I will still be blogging just as much, okay maybe a little less…

But anyways onto todays foodie item, it is…..

Yup so called heart-attack-in-a-box MacDonald’s, with a choice of some strange chicken burger or other from the festive menu.

And let me just say, I’m not that big of a fan of MacDee’s in general, but, and a big but, I do enjoy stuff from their speciality menu’s – you know, the stuff labeled as 100% percent beef and stuff?

So yeah.. MacDee’s every once in a while is nice, but definitely not too much,

And tomorrow will be our last post in this journey, so… lets go out with a bang hey?
